Dies, Dies, IO Dies

So guess what I got in Akron??  Just a few dies from Impression Obsession. Some we've had before, but some are NEW.  Not just for us but from IO.
NEVER take Laura shopping with you.  She's a bad influence. lol  Well I do the same to her, so I guess we are even.  We shopped on Saturday afternoon in the IO booth. It was late so Mitra (owner of IO) decided I should wait till Sunday to pay.  Sounded good.  BUT when I went back on Sunday morning I found another display of more dies.  Yep, I added to my already large handful.  Well, that's okay, I got some really fun dies!  And just in case this isn't enough, I ordered more yesterday!  They should be here next week.
Happy May!!

Our Store away from home

We had a small 10x10 set up this time, but we're thinking about going bigger next year.  People would get jammed up behind Laura in the corner and I'd have to do traffic control. lol
It all depends on where they put us and how many sides we have open.  This was a two sided booth which makes it jam up.  I've got new ideas for layout.  Putting it all into practice is so much different than on paper.  I'm not very good at that.
Have a great day!!

What a GREAT turnout!!

We had a great weekend in Akron! I learned some new techniques and looking forward to sharing them in future classes!  The early crowd was larger than last year and boy were they hungry for ideas!  Laura talked so much we had to get lozenges for her.  We taught George to use the register, we got lots of breaks.  We couldn't have done it without the both of them.
Here are pictures of the crowd coming in.

Have a great night.

It's almost over

Yep, this cold is almost gone.  Not a lot of coughing today and I'm feeling much better.  Hopefully tomorrow it will be over with.
Today was a good day.  Two classes and lots of visitors.  Thanks so much for your support.
Next week we have a great class on Wednesday at 1:00.  It's a fun way to make backgrounds and pretty cards so simply.  There is still room for a couple more.
Then Friday an Iris Folding class baby themed and Saturday a Birthday Memory Book. Check out the website for samples (www.thepaperhollow.com).
Have a GREAT weekend.

I'm a little off...

Hey,
It's been a rough couple of days.  I'm still rashy and my throat is a little sore from coughing.  I hope to be back in the swing next week.  But if anything comes up in the mean time I definitely will let you know.
Thanks for remembering to shop local, shop small.

The Perfect Easy Card - 3D Style

Here is a short video on how to do 3D's.  We have a great selection.  Most are directly from Holland with some from England and some from Germany.  We love 3D's!
Hives today.  I won't be taking Zicam again. Another dose of Benedryl tonight before bed.  Hoping for a better tomorrow.

WOW is all I can say.....

It's been quite a day.  Jeff and I did Inka Gold inventory and this is what we got. Each pile is 2-3 deep. He didn't even put the Platinum on the table.  I only have a few more to do.

Then I found out a good customer/acquaintance was murdered yesterday.  I've been in a funk ever since.

Hope you have a wonderful Easter!!

I'm Black and Blue!

No, I didn't hurt myself.  I had to refill some markers yesterday for a customer and I made a MESS!!  I amaze myself how I can get so much ink on me instead of in a marker. lol  It's still with me today.  I've put alcohol and Purell on my hands several times, but my hands look like a deranged person's hands.  :O)  Oh, maybe a creative person's hands? Yeah, I'll stick with that!!

Remember, we do refill Copic Markers, so bring them in so I can color my hands.
