Hey, incase you missed out... I sat in on Irene's Distress Ink class this past Saturday. WOW, I had a lot of fun learning about these fabulous inks! I have so many ideas running through my head it's spinning. Can't wait to showcase it in my future cards.
Here is a sample of what I did. Of course I didn't follow the rules so everybody's cards were different than mine. Yes, I'm one of those students. That is why I usually don't take classes from my instructors...I don't want to intimidate them or make them feel bad that I don't always follow along.
I love how they turned out!!
Watch for upcoming classes and sales! New product is arriving all this week!!

My Interview
My Interview with Michigan Scrapbooker Blog
A few weeks ago I had an interview with the Michigan Scrapbooker blogger. Click on the link to see the entire page.
Michigan Scrapbooker will publish their last issue (Winter) and will no longer be available. It's been a good ride, but some times good things must end. I hope you all have enjoyed the magazine. I've enjoyed working with Carrie (the editor) for the past 8 years. She's always maintained a good attitude even when I know she's having a hard time. Life is good and God will open a new door for her once this one is completely closed.
Remember to Shop Small.... it's what will keep us around for more years to come!!

Here's one to be Framed
I found this very cute and true. Comes from CHA (Craft & Hobby Association). I just may have to frame it and put it in the store.
We've been busy with getting ready for conventions. Ft. Wayne was a good weekend. I love meeting lots of new people. We made some contacts. I also love seeing the vendors we haven't seen in a while. Southfield is next weekend. I have FREE tickets. Hope to see you there!
