Retreat

Ahhhh, the joy of a weekend away with little or no phone calls and lots of crafting!!  I made over 110 Cards for Soldiers and a couple of Groovi ones.  Laura got quite a few of her personal cards done for the year and Kam did some cross stitch and sewing.

We've already booked our weekend for next year, cuz with a discount and the chance of them selling out we have to jump on it right away!!

Here is a short video of the retreat house.

Make N Take Day

Today was the day I chose to do my first "fun" video.  Like I said, I want to do more videos but they will be just small captures of my routine.
Every first Saturday of the month we do Make N Take Day at the store.  There are 3 different cards to do.  The first one is free.  The other two are $1 ea.  Never hard to do cards or projects, just simple cards for fun and camaraderie. About 8 ladies came in today to play, talk and share.  It's always a good day for me to be with friends who like to make cards and share their lives with me.
So enjoy the 30 seconds of just silliness.

Here We Are

Welcome to 2018.  Eighteen years into the new millennium.  WOW.  My mother always told me time goes faster the older you get.  Man does it ever.  My grandbabies are 6 1/2 and 12 1/2.  Drew will be a teen this year.  Every year seems to fly by.  I want to take the time to learn something new this year.  Maybe take a watercolor painting class.  So many things I could do.

I'm at the age where a bucket list would come in handy.  Try to do something new and different before I kick that ole' bucket.  I've been watching Better Late Than Never, with Terry Bradshaw, William Shatner, Henry Winkler and George Foreman.  What a funny show.  Four men doing things they have never done before and we get to watch.  If I had the money and resources I'd do it all in a minute.  But for now I'll resort to the little things around me.

I'm going to do more videos and share them with ya'll.  They may be boring, funny or just plain stupid, but I need to have some fun.

So be on the lookout for some crazy documentary moments of my boring life.

Until next time,
