It's the little things

Today was catch up day.  I didn't package any Inka Gold, but I did all the little things that I've put off the last few days.  Cut out Inka labels, special order for cut outs (LOVE my Brother Scan n Cut!), send emails, design a sale for next week, put discount tags on "Pick an Egg" sale for next week, put labels on 100+ ink pod packages, design an invitation for my grandson's b-day party, cut 80 5x7 canvas sheets, wash dishes and cutting mat, etc.  I'm sure there are more things I did and can't remember.  I did manage to eat lunch somewhere in there and talk to my sales rep about Chameleon markers (they will be on my next order).  Oh My!
Tomorrow and Saturday I'll be teaching so nothing exciting for me!

How many do you count?

Well this is how I spent part of my day! Hydrangea and Turquoise (or purple and teal if you like).
I still have 2 hours left... I wonder how many I can get done during that time?  Working on Silver next.
I ordered some papers on Wednesday.  MICHIGAN papers. I'm so looking forward to getting them.
Also on order is Penny Black and Stampendous (House Mouse, Bunnies and Bears).

See you soon!

A Bountiful Day

This is yesterday's post... hahaha  I didn't get to it till today.  This is just part of the bounty I got yesterday.  LOTS to do.  Still haven't put it all away.  For those looking for men's cards to do, we got some 3d trains in.  They usually sell out fairly fast, so just a reminder.
Hope you are enjoying the beginning of Spring!!

Delivered Today!

The Cheery Lynn order came in today along with some visitors.  The order consisted of NEW Easter dies, flowers, etc.
The boys just consisted of smiles and kisses!

We have Drew tonight.  We went out to dinner and then to Hobby Lobby to find some stuff to finish the rock house with the collection from last summer's trip to the UP.

Oil Pastels, I never knew...

Here is another video on something that has been around forever with a new twist!! I'd seen something like this a long time ago, but never used the technique.  I love the addition of the stencil and then stamping on it.  Hope you enjoy.

Chameleon Pens!!

I've been wanting to see these pens in action and I finally did last weekend in Indy!  I've got some on order so that we can play at the store and maybe do a class.  These are going to be great for the "non" Copic people who feel they just can't blend.  What do you think of the video?  Let me know in the comment section below.

While we were in Indianapolis at the Heirloom Paper Arts Show I did several videos from various vendors to introduce them or to show off their demos.  Here is the first one from Sweet Stamps.  Enjoy:

Indy was a Hit!

Here is our table set up in Indianapolis.  As you can see to the far left we were just inside the door.  There was a table behind us, but our set up was taller so we did get noticed.
My demo station was on the far right and I was surrounded by Inka Gold, stamps and card cuts.
I took many demo videos from other booths and will try to get those on this week.  I got lots of new ideas and saw new products that I'm excited to get in the store and share with you.
I've already placed orders for Penny Black stamps, Inkas and Cheery Lynn.  LOTS of Cheery Lynn.  Our wall is looking quite bare.
Happy to be home.

Making those Curled Flowers

Here's a short video on how to do those weird looking die cuts that turn into flowers.  They aren't that hard and you just need a quilling tool for the best results.
Have fun and enjoy the day.

Emboss Lately?

Spent a portion of my day embossing...A LOT of papers and variety of folders.  Can't demo Inka Gold without 'em. Then cut them into smaller pieces so I can give away samples.  This pile turned into quite a stash.
I'm prep'd and ready to go.
Till next time.

How was your day?

Today was a "snow" day.  When it snows everybody stays in...well almost everybody.  One of my long time customers came in on her way to get her hair done.  It was a nice, but short, visit.  Then my sister stopped by for a couple of hours. The best part of my day was the UPS man bringing two large packages!  More Inka Gold.  Only 6 weeks between the Indy show and Akron, so I will need to keep busy fillin' those jars!

It's Spring Up for daylight savings time this Saturday night.  Don't forget to set your clocks!!
Laurie has a great class this weekend.  Shadowing/Ghosting.  Sign up soon!!
Have a great night.
