God Answers Prayer

 Hi All,

It's been a hectic 3 weeks.  Jeff fell at the York, PA convention and ruptured his bladder.  He had emergency surgery and a week long stay.  It was especially hard because we were 10 hours from home and alone.

He was released on the 14th and we got home on the 15th.  Doctor appointments were crazy.  On the 21st he had his JP drain removed.... that night we were in emergency.  He was having some really sharp pains.  They admitted him and ran tests.  He had a staph infection.  He was released on the 25th.  So home again for the night.  He has had a catheter this whole time so that his bladder could heal.

Wednesday morning he got the cath removed and ahhhh, we thought we could relax.  BUT NOoooo.  His bladder did not cooperate and he never released any fluid....so at 6 pm we are back at the ER.  That trip was a very long story, but when they finally seen him they drained 1500 ml from his bladder.  I am so thankful it did not burst.  They sent him home with a new catheter and here we are.  He should get the cath out next week and we pray everything will be okay.

We missed the Sevierville, TN convention.  It's one of our favorites, but ya know... life happens.  Jeff has been diagnosed with RP (look that one up) and is legally blind.  I do all the driving now, unless someone is with us on the road and they share the task with me.  He has had one lesson with a white cane and used it today when we went grocery shopping.  He still has direct vision, but a low, 18% vision field.  The normal person has 180 degree peripheral field.  And so this is how it all started.  He didn't see some crates while we were packing up in York and he tripped over them and fell onto a crate and ruptured his bladder.

So many prayers have been sent and answered.  I want to thank everyone for taking the time to remember us and sending love.

So the convention season is over for now.  We are playing catch up and I'm doing 4 craft shows in the next 2 months.  Life is always busy, just the way we like it.

So till next time,

Cheryl

Join the Club

So this is the sample for September.  I really like this flower.  I have more orange in it but it doesn't show.  It's attached with Krylon spray to the background paper.

This background is one of my new papers.  I'm really excited how they are being received.  They look good with everything.

Several people have signed up over the last couple of months.  It's been good to see people being interested again.  Covid time was harsh on business and on club memberships.  I get it.

If you are interested in joining the club, go to the online store and click the link to memberships.  You will find info there for 3 month, 6 month and 1 year memberships.

I look forward to October.  Three shows in 3 weeks.  I'm going to be exhausted.

So till next time,

C

I'm Blessed by her words.

We had a great show in Hamburg, NY.  An hour before we closed a lady come in who knew nothing about paper crafting.  I'm so happy she stopped by our booth.  I love showing off our products, especially when they are buying to show kids.

My name is Marianne S and you helped me today at the paper craft show in Buffalo! I have to tell you I AM SO GREATFUL FOR YOUR HELP! That was the most fabulous experience and I was able to learn such a huge amount in a short period of time!
I rushed home to show my mom and cannot wait until my daughter gets home tomorrow! I am also extremely excited to share all of this with our students! They get so excited and feel so accomplished when they make things!
I really just wanted to make sure you knew how appreciative I am that you took the time and helped me learn something new! You really helped us a lot and I am so excited to share your information!
Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart!
Sincerely,
Marianne

When I found this in my email the next morning I almost was in tears.  This is what I live for.... teaching people something new and creative.

Our next stop is in Westminster, MD.  Come and see us if you can.
Til next time,
Cheryl

I've been Designing Again

So when we were in MA, I took some new papers and they sold very well.  I'm excited to introduce them at shows and in classes.  I put them online and more to come!!  They go with EVERYTHING!!  Can't be better than that.

I found a local printer that is doing them for me so I don't have to pay shipping.  I've ordered over 3,000 sheets so far in the past week.  I love paper!!

Have a great Holiday Weekend.

Till next time,

Time Sure Flies

WOW, hard to believe I last posted over 6 months ago.  So much has been going on.  Our orders from Germany got here with some glitches but I've already ordered again.  We have LOADS of 3Ds in our online store. We have a new VIBE account and Critters just sell themselves.

We did a new show last October in Allentown, PA.  WOW, it was our best show since we started 15 years ago!!  It had been bumped to October, but it will be back on it's original schedule in April.  All our shows are listed on the website with links to the promoters for all the information.  www.thepaperhollow.com

I've also been doing craft shows.  I did three this past year, but hoping to do a few more this year.  I've been keeping busy crafting when conventions are not on our calendar.

Here are some pictures of what I've been doing.  I'll post future shows I'm participating in.  Come give me a hug or a "hi".  It's good to see my customers faces (or eyes with masks).

 So, till next time,
C

Couldn't get the pics to position where I wanted, but at least you can see them.  Any look familiar??
