Not far from Home

So last weekend (April 23 & 24) we were in Akron for Adventures in Stamping.  It was a great weekend.  Lots of friends stopped by to say hi, including some old TAC Angels who were having a get together on Sunday evening.  I couldn't go cuz #1 I was tired, #2 it was after a show and we had helpers that needed to get home and #3 I was tired. :O)  But it was good to talk with Yuki and Angi, and see Monica, Brenda and Rita.

Here is our booth set up.  A photo bomb by George. Hey, he's an important part of our set up and relief, so getting him in the picture was great!!

If You Missed It!!

Our last coloring day was March 26.  We had a great time and Annette let us pick a picture from her coloring books by Pamela Smart.  If you go to Amazon she's listed under her name, PJC or Color Me Your Way.  I would love to have all these books for myself,  I would NEVER get them all done.  Annette doesn't like to do people so she gave this one to me.  I LOVE it!!  She is now framed and hanging in the store by the coloring books.

We always share hints and helps to questions you may have and it's a great time.  Our next Cookies and Color is April 23!!  You must sign up so we can guarantee you a spot.  Cookies and pages are supplied, but be sure to bring your favorite coloring utensils.

Be sure to shop small.

Til next time,

Cheryl

Cookies and Coloring

On the Saturday before Easter (March 26) we'll be having a Cookies and Coloring day.  I got an early start.  This is from one of the small coloring books that are so popular here at the store. I made a mistake in coloring the ribbon, but Copics are so forgiving that I fixed and you can barely tell!!  Check your calendar and join us for some fun and cookies (see class page on the website)!  I will be sharing some coloring secrets all day long. :O)

Other People's Wish List

I've gotten a lot of requests for my flowers, etc.  It's a great compliment to do something so many others want.  I've been busy with flowers, butterflies, tags, etc. and got them packaged today and on my Etsy Store.  Here they are:

Oh the Joy

For the last few days I've been doing shadow boxes with paper tole.  I really like the way they have turned out.  THEN yesterday I had leftovers.  Oh my.
Here is the shadow box and 3, yes THREE, cards I made from what was left.
We have LOTS of these 3D's to choose from.  Come on in and check them out!

Need a Break?

Laura and I went a couple a weeks ago and decided we wanted to share with our friends.  I know it's a long time off, but if you are interested book soon, there are only 12 spots open.  I am not making anything on this, just want to go and have a good time!!
Even if you just sit around and socialize it comes out to only $55 a night, which is cheaper than the hotel we used to go to.  You can eat yourself sick and it will all be for fun. :o)  Monthly payments will be accepted if you start now.
So, I hope to hear from you soon!!

Personalized Stamps

I'm not usually one to promote someone else's store unless it's important... LOL
I've been asked so many times who makes personal stamps now that I don't.  I didn't know of anyone until I found this link on Facebook tonight.
So enjoy my friends. :O)

Merry Christmas

I've been busy getting ready for this whole holiday thing and time just slips away.  I've been cutting things out on the cricut and ordering presents and wham, the day is here.
It's been a great two days.  Our traditions are growing and my children are making their own, so I just follow along.
Here are a couple of pictures from our Christmas Eve and morning. Thanks for your support.
